Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and highly skilled BIM Manager to join our expanding design and digital team. This pivotal role involves establishing the digital foundation of an innovative Australian housing platform by leading BIM standards, computational design integration, digital protocols, and model-driven project delivery across design, manufacturing, and building processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and refine the BIM framework, digital design ecosystem, and project model governance at Built Living.
• Manage and develop Revit libraries, parametric assets, and digital content effectively.
• Oversee coordination of multi-disciplinary project models among consultants and teams.
• Facilitate collaboration focusing on model-based workflows between design, manufacturing, and construction divisions.
• Champion DfMA and modular delivery approaches within project procedures.
• Incorporate computational design tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and Rhino.Inside.Revit into workflows.
• Ensure stringent model quality, governance, and digital compliance across projects.
• Promote innovation and pinpoint opportunities for automating design and documentation processes.
• Guide and mentor designers and project members on BIM best practices.
• Collaborate with technology partners and software vendors to maintain industry-leading digital delivery techniques.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate originates from BIM Management, Digital Engineering, Design Technology, or Computational Design fields and possesses enthusiasm for industrialized construction, automation, and model-centric delivery methodologies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in Revit Library Management, including ownership/governance of company-wide BIM assets and coordination with suppliers for consistent project content.
• Extensive background managing BIM across several simultaneous projects, applying standard libraries and managing coordination with various stakeholders.
• Experience in setting, upholding, and refining BIM standards, protocols, and technical repositories to maintain consistency from templates to individual components.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and complementary digital platforms, particularly crucial experience with Rhino.Inside.Revit.
• Strong understanding of BIM execution plans, model governance, and information management aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
