BIM Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to contribute significantly to the successful delivery of high-quality Building Services projects, including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Fire disciplines. This role involves working within a collaborative, seasoned design team to oversee BIM implementation, maintain standards, and coordinate activities from conceptual stages to construction completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination efforts across Building Services projects.
• Develop and manage Revit models along with integrated federated models spanning different disciplines.
• Establish and promote BIM standards, workflows, and best practices throughout the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address and resolve design clashes.
• Provide support during design development and documentation phases of projects.
• Mentor junior and mid-level BIM technicians and coordinators.
• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of digital engineering capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience as a BIM Coordinator in a Building Services consultancy environment.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and experienced with Navisworks or similar coordination software.
• Comprehensive understanding of BIM methodologies, standards, and project lifecycle delivery.
• Experience managing coordination of multidisciplinary models in complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with engineers and designers.
• Proactive attitude with leadership ability to drive BIM initiatives and influence outcomes.
