Production Line Manager (Perfumes)

Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the perfume production lines to meet established goals related to production volume, quality standards, safety measures, and operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities on the perfume production floor to consistently achieve production targets.
• Supervise and allocate workforce resources effectively among production staff.
• Track and analyze production line efficiency, downtime, waste generation, and output levels.
• Manage operations including mixing, filling, labeling, and packaging processes.
• Ensure all operations strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality controls, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) guidelines.
• Collaborate with various departments including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning to streamline processes.
• Diagnose production challenges and develop appropriate corrective actions.
• Compile production reports and keep an eye on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide training and growth opportunities to production team members to enhance their skills.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in production roles.
• Preferably experienced in perfume or cosmetics manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record managing production teams and processes.
• Excellent leadership qualities with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
