Role Overview and Responsibilities

The coordinator is responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring that Associates work efficiently as a team. Delivering an outstanding customer experience through engagement and maintaining a clean, organized store environment is a priority. Key duties include:

• Creating a positive experience for both customers and team members
• Upholding honesty, integrity, and confidentiality throughout operations
• Managing truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise flow onto the sales floor
• Training and mentoring Associates on merchandising and processing standards
• Ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Coordinating with the Coordinator on Duty for smooth goods flow
• Prioritizing and ensuring task completion according to the store's plan
• Monitoring productivity and providing guidance to the team as necessary
• Organizing and rotating back stock for replenishment ease
• Maintaining merchandising philosophy and signage guidelines
• Keeping backroom areas organized and clean, complying with recycling and hazardous waste policies
• Communicating effectively with management and Associates on priorities and progress
• Giving and receiving recognition and constructive feedback
• Supporting training needs alongside Management to enhance Associate effectiveness
• Ensuring observance of all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promoting credit and loyalty programs to customers
• Participating in store shrink reduction initiatives
• Maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safety awareness
• Performing other assigned duties as required

Candidate Profile

• Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes or unexpected situations
• Strong teamwork skills, cooperating effectively with peers and supervisors
• Capability to lift heavy items, with or without accommodations
• Experience in training others
• At least one year of retail experience and six months in a leadership role
