Team Leader

Overview

As a vital member of the management team, the Team Leader assists the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in controlling the daily functions of the retail store.

Core Duties

• Guide, supervise, and support store associates to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle store merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and managing shipments through boxing and unboxing.
• Guarantee that customer service delivers excellence at all times.
• Perform manager-on-duty roles such as overseeing breaks, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Apply and uphold visual merchandising guidelines consistently.
• Swiftly respond to customer complaints, providing prompt resolutions.
• Maintain safety protocols and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
• Engage in cash management as well as store opening and closing responsibilities when necessary.
• Take part in inventory activities and assist in training new employees.
• Follow through with assigned tasks and contribute to recruitment and employee performance oversight.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in retail.
• One to two years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Drive and desire for career advancement within the company.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with effective communication skills.
• Competence in handling multiple duties simultaneously in a busy retail environment.
