Role Overview
The Team Leader plays a vital role within the management team by assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in managing daily operations at the retail store.
Daily Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, offering leadership and assistance.
- Manage store merchandising, including stocking shelves and handling shipment boxing and unboxing activities.
- Ensure that customer service standards are consistently maintained at a high level.
- Carry out manager-on-duty duties such as overseeing breaks, time management, and attendance monitoring.
- Execute and uphold visual merchandising protocols.
- Promptly address and resolve customer complaints.
- Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
- Perform cash handling tasks and manage store opening and closing when required.
- Engage in inventory procedures and contribute to training of employees.
- Monitor progress on delegated tasks and assist with hiring processes and performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of retail experience.
- Between one and two years in a supervisory position.
- Desire and motivation to advance within the company.
- Availability across various shifts including day, evening, and weekends.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Proven capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
