Assistant Manager - M&S

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Cafe Manager passionate about delivering outstanding food and exceptional customer service. You will take charge of managing all kitchen and service counter operations for a prominent High Street brand, working full-time at 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitating communication between management and team members to consistently exceed service standards
• Inspiring and motivating the team to maintain focus and productivity
• Assisting the manager with inventory management, budget monitoring, and executing action strategies
• Operating tills and handling payment transactions accurately
• Leading and supporting team training initiatives, setting an example to help others succeed
• Completing necessary administrative paperwork as required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I while upholding a positive brand image

• Prior experience in a similar assistant managerial position
• Proven skills in team leadership and management
