About the Role
Become part of the Skechers team at our Crescent store as an Assistant Store Manager. Since our start on Henry Street in 2010, we've expanded to 26 locations across Ireland and Northern Ireland and continue to grow. Our environment values positive attitudes and effective communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in managing all daily store operations.
- Provide guidance and supervision to store staff under the Manager's direction.
- Take full responsibility for the store's functioning when the Store Manager is absent.
- Collaborate on merchandising, customer service, and human resource tasks day-to-day.
- Report operational matters and assist in developing recruitment and sales approaches.
- Ensure optimized inventory levels and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Assist customers and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
- Take ownership of meeting store sales goals.
- Perform additional duties as requested by higher management.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
- Strong leadership qualities and capability in team training.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform floor tasks, including reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, and carrying items.
