Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Merchandise Coordinator with open availability to support efficient receiving and merchandising processes. This role ensures that team associates work efficiently and cohesively towards meeting store goals, while also upholding superior customer service and maintaining store presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive experience for both internal team members and customers.
• Uphold a culture grounded in honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality where required.
• Manage delivery truck operations to prioritize timely processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Train and guide associates on merchandising protocols and processing procedures.
• Ensure merchandise is correctly tagged, displayed securely, and coded properly.
• Coordinate with store management to facilitate smooth merchandise flow and task prioritization.
• Oversee associate productivity, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Organize and rotate back stock to optimize replenishment efficiency.
• Maintain merchandising philosophies including signage standards and cleanliness in backroom areas.
• Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste handling programs where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members on priorities and progress updates.
• Champion recognition and constructive feedback exchanges within the team.
• Partner with management to identify associate training needs and drive improvements.
• Comply with labor laws, company policies, and procedures at all times.
• Support store initiatives including credit and loyalty programs, shrink reduction goals, and workplace safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational capabilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes or unexpected challenges.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills working well with peers and supervisors.
• Physical capability to lift heavy items, with reasonable accommodations if needed.
• Experience in training others effectively.
• Minimum of one year retail experience combined with at least six months in a leadership role.

This position’s starting pay range is USD 13.50 to 14.00 per hour. Actual pay is based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
