Contract Manager

About the Role

An established Saudi group currently undergoing growth and transformation is seeking a Contract Manager to join its Supporting Services division. This full-time, permanent position based in Dammam offers a chance to be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and work closely with various business units. The role involves managing commercial, supplier, and service contracts with the aim of enhancing contract governance, commercial outcomes, and risk management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts throughout their full lifecycle including creation, negotiation, execution, renewal, and closure.
• Draft, assess, and negotiate commercial agreements as well as supplier and service contracts.
• Negotiate pricing structures, commercial clauses, and service-level expectations.
• Identify and evaluate contractual and commercial risks, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contract compliance, monitor key milestones, amendments, and renewal schedules.
• Enhance contract governance frameworks and ensure thorough documentation is maintained.
• Keep accurate records with up-to-date contract registers and reports.
• Collaborate effectively with PMO, legal, procurement teams, and business leaders.
• Provide contractual guidance supporting significant projects and transformation programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi national.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Between 7 and 10 years of experience in contract or commercial management or procurement.
• Demonstrable expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of commercial and contract-related risk factors.
• Effective communication skills and proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

• Background working in PMO or project-centric environments.
• Experience operating across various business segments.
• Exposure to industrial sectors such as infrastructure, construction, logistics, or support services.
• Professional certifications such as CCCM or PMP.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a salary of 21,875 SAR monthly along with standard corporate benefits.
