Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cost Control Specialist to join the PMO of a reputable Saudi group that is expanding its Supporting Services operations. You will assist management in identifying profitable areas, rising costs, asset utilization efficiency, and potential profitability enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and compare costs against the authorized budgets and operational objectives.
- Examine revenue streams, operational expenditures, maintenance and repair costs, and overall profitability.
- Generate detailed budget versus actual reports, variance analysis, and profitability reviews.
- Oversee the monthly revenue cycle, pinpointing any revenue leakages.
- Evaluate invoicing accuracy, unbilled revenue, accounts receivable, and collection effectiveness.
- Review equipment and asset usage, identifying downtime and operational efficiency.
- Develop comprehensive management reports, dashboards, and KPIs that illuminate business performance clearly.
- Identify and recommend ways to optimize utilization, minimize downtime, and boost profitability.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Maintenance, and PMO teams to enhance cost and revenue management.
Candidate Profile
- Saudi nationals only.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in cost control, revenue management, or financial analysis.
- Demonstrated skills in invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable management.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience analyzing profitability and utilization metrics.
- Preferred but not mandatory: experience in equipment rental, fleet management, or other asset-heavy industries.
- Experience collaborating across Finance, Operations, Maintenance, and PMO departments is advantageous.
- Additional qualifications such as CMA, CFA, or cost/financial analysis certifications are beneficial but not required.
