Job description
Role Overview
We are partnering with a growing international real estate and development firm to recruit a Senior Development Manager for their developing Dublin team. This position offers a prime opportunity for an experienced professional focusing on residential development or construction to take a senior leadership role within an expanding Irish operation. The ideal candidate will be proactive and hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies and conduct technical due diligence.
- Oversee development programs and manage the pre-construction phase.
- Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supervise contractor procurement andhandle negotiations.
- Work closely with commercial, legal, financial, and technical advisors.
- Control project budgets, schedules, and reporting procedures.
- Liaise with public sector stakeholders and development partners.
- Support projects through construction, completion, and handover phases.
- Conduct market research and contribute to development and investment decision-making.
Candidate Profile
- Possess approximately 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in real estate, construction, or property development.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the development lifecycle, ideally with experience in the residential sector, notably in Private Rented Sector (PRS) and/or Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
- Experienced in managing design teams, contractors, and external consultants with strong commercial and contractual insight.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and preparing clear, concise reports.
- Commercially astute, hands-on, and eager to take initiative within a growing company environment.

Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based in Dublin with the option for hybrid working.
