About the Role

Join Vertu Volkswagen Hereford as a Vehicle Technician and play a key part in delivering outstanding customer service through trust and integrity. We seek skilled professionals responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, ranging from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics and repairs. Achieving quality workmanship with first-time fixes is fundamental to our ethos.

Salary and Career Levels

• Prep Technician: up to £35,000
• Service & Maintenance Technician: up to £36,200
• Service & Diagnostic Technician: up to £38,600
• Senior Technician: up to £41,000
• Master Technician: up to £45,800

These salaries depend on your qualifications and experience, with a 40-hour workweek. Saturdays are compensated as overtime, alongside an additional bonus for over-performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant formal qualifications such as Automotive City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
• Demonstrated experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT license is preferred but not compulsory
• Possession of own tools
• Valid UK driving licence
