Role Overview
As a Panel Technician at our Sheffield Accident Repair Centre, your chief responsibility will be to professionally restore damaged vehicle bodywork swiftly and to high customer satisfaction standards. Daily Responsibilities
- Perform thorough repair work on customer vehicles, adhering to scheduled times and minimizing vehicle returns to the workshop.
- Execute all repairs using best practices, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) methods, proper tools, and OEM standard times.
- Attend and commit to Manufacturer Training sessions to maintain necessary accreditations.
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and company, brand, and industry standards.
- Complete repairs to the highest quality within factory timeframes.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a qualified Panel Beater or MET Technician, demonstrating high-quality panel and body repair on motor vehicles.
- A strong customer-focused mindset aimed at exceeding customer expectations.
- Positive, responsible attitude with accountability for your decisions and actions.
- Methodical and organized approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills for advising customers on technical matters.
- Relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, recognized apprenticeship, manufacturer-approved training, or equivalent certification in vehicle panel and body repair.
