Role Overview

The Store Manager position entails overseeing all daily store operations, leading a motivated team, and nurturing a customer-centric atmosphere. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes driving sales growth and operational success while ensuring an outstanding shopping experience. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, the role contributes significantly to meeting business goals and fostering a thriving workplace for both staff and patrons.

Core Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safe work practices and ensuring adherence to policies while proactively identifying hazards and engaging the team in safety programs.
• Manage store profitability through effective control of sales targets, budgeting, margin management, inventory oversight, and staff scheduling, utilizing business tools such as scorecards and workforce management systems to optimize performance and minimize losses.
• Lead and inspire the team by embodying Autobarn's values daily, motivating staff to meet sales objectives, uphold operational standards, and deliver exceptional customer support.
• Maintain consistent retail processes, visual merchandising, in-store promotions, and store appearance to create an inviting and appealing retail environment.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in store management or senior retail leadership, ideally within automotive, specialty, or large-format retail settings.
• Proven leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, motivate, and enhance team performance.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets, KPIs, and managing overall store performance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills capable of building lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
