Role Overview

The Store Manager position is a leadership role responsible for overseeing daily store operations, guiding a motivated team, and nurturing a customer-centric atmosphere. The manager will report to the Area Manager and focus on boosting sales, operational efficiency, and delivering top-tier service to customers. This role demands hands-on leadership and strategic management to meet business goals and promote a positive environment for both employees and shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion health and safety by fostering a safety-first mindset, enforcing company policies, identifying risks, and engaging the team in safety practices.
• Steer financial and operational success by managing sales, budgets, margins, inventory, and staff scheduling effectively; make use of business reports, scorecards, and workforce tools to optimize outcomes and control costs.
• Lead by example to embody company values, motivate and empower team members to achieve sales and performance targets while ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Maintain consistent retail standards including merchandising, promotional activities, and overall store presentation to create an inviting shopping experience.
• Recruit, coach, and develop staff aligned with company values, recognize achievements, foster growth opportunities, and cultivate an inclusive and accountable team culture.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated leadership experience in retail management, preferably in automotive, specialty retail, or large-format retail settings.
• Strong capabilities in people management with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Commercial acumen with proven success in driving sales growth, meeting KPIs, and managing store profitability.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities facilitating long-term relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
