Role Overview
As a Project Manager specializing in Audio-Visual (AV) systems, you will be instrumental in overseeing the successful completion of AV projects tailored for Higher Education clients. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards, while maintaining solid stakeholder engagement and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage entire project life cycles from initiation through completion, conducting both remote and on-site activities as needed.
- Create comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, schedules, and communication strategies to guarantee effective execution.
- Organise and coordinate technical teams, vendors, and external suppliers throughout project phases.
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress consistently to clients and internal teams.
- Oversee budgets, timelines, project scope, risks, and dependencies to ensure desired results.
- Adhere to Compnow’s project management frameworks, policies, and quality benchmarks for all projects.
- Identify and suggest enhancements to project delivery processes for continual improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum six years of experience as a Project Manager within IT services or technology, with specific exposure to AV-related projects.
- A proven track record managing several concurrent projects in the Higher Education sector using recognised project management methodologies.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalents is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in adhering to budgetary, timeline, and procedural constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication with diverse stakeholders and swift decision-making under pressure.
Additional Requirements
- Willing and able to travel to our Notting Hill office and various client locations throughout Melbourne.
- Must hold Australian residency status with unrestricted full-time work eligibility.
