Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a large, multi-phase enterprise Mendix programme hosted on Microsoft Azure. This role requires overseeing integration with approximately 20 systems via an enterprise service bus (ESB), including government services, financial institutions, payment gateways, and enterprise platforms such as CRM and accounting systems. The position is based in Dubai, with remote working options, and immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from mobilisation through analysis, building, testing, go-live, hypercare, and handover phases.
• Conduct formal governance activities including monthly steering committees, bi-weekly project boards, and weekly status reporting.
• Coordinate dependency management across multiple third-party vendors, including system owners and integration partners.
• Lead coordination of onsite and remote teams during critical phases such as analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live.
• Monitor client-related dependencies such as system access, API documentation, and availability of test environments.
• Ensure thorough documentation, knowledge transfer, and seamless handover to the client’s designated support team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in IT project delivery, with at least 5 years in managerial or leadership positions.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience delivering Mendix or government IT projects.
• Proven ability to manage formal governance structures, including steering committees, project boards, and comprehensive status reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing dependencies involving multiple external parties.
• Experience delivering projects involving system integrations and phased go-lives.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience within government or other regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with financial or case-management systems.
• Understanding of Arabic or right-to-left (RTL) application development.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Prior work experience in the Middle East region.
