About the Role
As a Spa Service Specialist at Westin Hotels & Resorts in Doha, you will support diverse core operations of the spa to craft a memorable and unique guest experience. You will be responsible for delivering a broad array of services that ensure every guest has an enjoyable visit. Duties include promoting spa services and retail sales, scheduling and confirming bookings, answering service-related inquiries, registering guests, and processing payments. Your interaction will positively contribute to the overall guest experience.
Regardless of position, supporting success depends on maintaining a safe workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional demeanor through proper attire, personal appearance, and communication at all times.
Physical and Activity Requirements
The role requires being on your feet and moving for extended periods, often on uneven or slippery surfaces. Active participation involves moving, lifting, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently and up to 25 pounds with help. Additional movement includes reaching above and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and squatting as needed. Performing all tasks diligently, including any reasonable requests, is crucial for guest satisfaction and business success.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Related Work Experience: Not required.
- Supervisory Experience: Not necessary.
