Role Overview

This position is for a full-time Waitstaff member located on-site in Doha, Qatar. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders for food and beverages, and serving meals and drinks promptly and courteously. The role also involves assisting guests by answering inquiries about the menu, following up during their dining experience, and handling bill payments accurately.

Daily Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide menu information.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them efficiently.
• Engage with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Process guest payments with precision.
• Support clearing and resetting dining tables.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene standards rigorously.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication abilities for interacting professionally with patrons and team members.
• Proficiency in food and beverage service, including order handling and food safety adherence.
• Basic knowledge of cooking or familiarity with food preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
• Dependability and punctuality, with willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants or cafes, particularly within the local or regional dining scene, is beneficial.
• Capability to stand for long durations, safely carry trays, and observe health and safety protocols.
• Basic English communication skills are essential; additional languages relevant to Doha's diverse clientele are a plus.
