Position Overview
At Westin Hotels & Resorts, the role of Guest Experience Expert goes beyond facilitating routine check-ins and check-outs. This position aims to craft a memorable, distinctive visitor journey by proactively assisting guests throughout their entire stay. Employees in this role are granted the freedom to navigate their work environment and attend to necessary tasks, ranging from handling operational duties and responding to guest inquiries, to compiling reports and highlighting local attractions. Each interaction is designed to weave seamlessly into the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide comprehensive assistance to guests from arrival to departure, ensuring all needs and requests are promptly addressed.
- Manage daily operational requirements and maintain accurate reporting.
- Offer informative insights about local points of interest to enhance guest engagements.
- Maintain a safe working environment adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality and protection of proprietary assets at all times.
- Deliver quality service while upholding professional standards including uniform appearance and communication etiquette.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving items up to 10 pounds unassisted.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
- No previous related work experience or supervisory roles are necessary.
- No licenses or certifications are mandatory.
