Job Overview

As a Food & Beverage Hostess at Westin Hotels & Resorts located in Raheja IT Park, Hitec City, Madhapur, Hyderabad, you will be the welcoming face for guests, managing seating arrangements and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role operates full-time in an onsite capacity within a non-management position.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and accurately identify their group size.
• Escort guests to appropriate clean and ready tables, assist with seating including chair arrangement, and present clean, current menus.
• Adjust seating arrangements to accommodate guests' needs, including arranging tables and chairs for special groups.
• Ensure each place setting is complete with clean silverware, napkins, and standard items, and verify menus are clean, up-to-date, and plentiful.
• Keep work areas tidy throughout shifts by following 'clean-as-you-go' standards.
• Monitor dining availability, guest safety, service quality, and overall guest well-being within the dining rooms.
• Adhere strictly to company safety, security policies, and report any incidents or risks to management promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and uphold confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and coworkers, handle telephone calls professionally.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals and respond considerately to employee concerns.
• Meet quality standards consistently and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• Licenses or certifications are not mandated for this role.
