Spa Therapist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Spa Therapist to provide exceptional massage and body treatments to our guests, utilizing various props, products, and specialized techniques. This role involves assessing guest needs and contraindications before treatment, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, promoting spa services and retail products, and ensuring guest comfort and safety throughout each session.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver massage and body treatments using techniques such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Evaluate guest health conditions prior to service, including allergies and pregnancy, to tailor treatments safely.
• Prepare treatment areas and escort guests to and from rooms.
• Maintain hygiene by cleaning and sterilizing tools, linens, and workspaces throughout shifts.
• Adhere strictly to scheduled appointment times and company policies.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior according to standard protocols, including notifying supervisors as needed.
• Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues through professional communication and courteous service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a State or Regional Massage License or certification.
• Completion of a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School program is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of relevant spa therapy experience is desirable.
• No prior supervisory experience required.

It is a full-time, non-management role requiring physical endurance including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
