Storekeeper

Position Overview

The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, staging, and delivering merchandise by department, ensuring correct placement within the facility. Duties include stacking goods, processing requisition forms, and monitoring inventory levels while promptly reporting shortages to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and properly store perishables with stock rotation to maintain freshness.
• Inspect incoming orders for quality, accuracy, and condition, rejecting damaged or incorrect items as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and handling protocols in all food areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and waste according to appropriate storage procedures.
• Report workplace accidents, injuries, and hazards to management and complete required safety trainings.
• Follow all company policies, maintain professionalism in appearance and confidentiality of information, and ensure protection of company assets.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and colleagues, supporting teamwork and positive relations.
• Meet quality assurance standards and visually verify information in multiple formats.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maneuvering in confined or uneven spaces.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications mandated.
