Key Responsibilities

• Comply strictly with Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies, Health and Safety mandates, and related initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service aligned with customer needs.
• Precisely wrap, package, price, label, and date all meat and poultry products responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the work area consistently.
• Organize and rotate products in line with company standards.
• Accurately document information in designated logs.
• Execute merchandising and promotional displays following company presentation guidelines.
• Prepare and handle deli products adhering to quality and food safety standards.
• Promote products actively to boost store sales.
• Assist in training junior staff members.
• Manage ordering and receiving stock per company inventory control procedures.
• Prepare meat products for the service case when applicable.
• Handle department shrink processes.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of department operations and related skills.
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable with adaptability and flexibility to changing demands.
• Committed to teamwork and enthusiastic sales techniques.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing two-person lifts for heavier items.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Prepared to work in varying temperature conditions for short durations.
• Exposure to sanitation and cleaning chemicals expected.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
