Role Overview
This role sits within the Software Solutions team, focusing on advising diverse customers and senior stakeholders on Microsoft licensing and software spend optimization. You will analyze licensing entitlements and deployments, identify opportunities for cost savings and licensing simplification, prepare business reviews with recommendations, and support commercial negotiation strategies. Building trusted relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on Microsoft 365 licensing, optimization, and commercial options
- Analyze software licensing entitlements, deployment patterns, and organizational requirements
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and simplify the licensing landscape
- Prepare and deliver business reviews including actionable recommendations
- Support commercial negotiations and develop negotiation strategies
- Maintain and build trusted partnerships with customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues
- Recognize opportunities to enhance customer value and commercial outcomes
Candidate Profile
- Experience in software licensing, Software Asset Management (SAM), procurement, commercial advisory or consulting
- Strong analytical skills coupled with commercial acumen
- Ability to confidently engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities
- Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills
- Curious, strategic mindset, and comfortable challenging conventional practices
