Job description
Position Overview
This opportunity is for an experienced software engineer with over six years in building reliable, scalable, and high-performance software solutions within agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed systems, microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs.
- Build cloud-native applications leveraging modern programming stacks.
- Lead team design discussions, assess technology tradeoffs, and guide technical implementations.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams to meet product and business goals.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Extensive experience (6+ years) with programming languages and frameworks such as Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript, React, and SQL.
- Strong familiarity with Python and big data technologies including Databricks, Spark, and PySpark for data pipeline development and analytics applications.
- Hands-on experience in cloud environments like AWS or Azure, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, automated testing, observability, and production support.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to navigate unclear situations and make informed technical decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.
