Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Go programming, along with experience in Java (Spring Boot) or Python, to join our team in Dublin. The role involves designing and developing scalable and high-performance backend systems for enterprise-grade fintech, fraud management, or real-time payments solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go (Golang), often integrating with Java Spring Boot or Python components.
• Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and microservice architectures to support complex applications.
• Work within cloud-native platforms employing container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and utilize CI/CD pipelines built with Jenkins.
• Handle a variety of data storage technologies including relational databases like SQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Manage infrastructure automation and configuration with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to ensure reliable and scalable deployments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Bring 8 to 10 years of professional software development experience, ideally within large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate a proven history of delivering solutions in fintech, fraud detection/management, or high-speed payment processing domains.
