Role Overview

As a Software Engineer at BLP, you will be part of dedicated engineering teams who fully own their products from understanding business problems to managing product roadmaps. You will experience strong ownership culture and engage in shaping team dynamics and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify enhancements for the product.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality software following sound engineering principles including functional programming patterns.
• Engage in code reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Lead technical strategies for significant projects, influence product evolution, and mentor fellow engineers.
• Promote innovation and teamwork through open knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of workflows, tools, and practices.

Technology Stack

The position involves working with Golang, MySQL, Docker containers deployed on Kubernetes clusters within cloud infrastructures like GCS, AWS, or Azure, and utilizing GitHub CI/CD pipelines.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or possesses equivalent practical experience.
• Has at least three years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrates passion for software craftsmanship, with a strong grasp of software development principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture.
• Exhibits product-oriented thinking by translating business challenges into clear technical specifications and executable code.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit by aligning daily efforts with team and company goals, balancing efficiency and quality.
• Exemplifies ownership by taking responsibility for technical contributions, product outcomes, and team development.
• Works well within teams, proactively supporting objectives and addressing gaps.
• Excels at abstraction and communication by simplifying complex systems and conveying ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
