About the Role
We seek a Software Engineer passionate about designing dependable systems, rigorously managing infrastructure, and applying strong software fundamentals to practical operational challenges. This position is based remotely within Europe or onsite in Zurich.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership for the reliability and accuracy of the systems you develop and maintain.
- Persistently enhance system robustness via detailed analysis and iterative improvements.
- Recognize and manage the complexity and entropy inherent in intricate systems, adapting solutions accordingly.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or closely related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of essential software engineering principles such as type systems, composition, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with functional programming paradigms or languages.
- Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to carefully reason about complex systems and edge cases.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of distributed systems, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
