Your Role and Contributions

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will architect and develop robust, cloud-native backend systems leveraging Golang and contemporary distributed system technologies. Your work will focus on constructing scalable APIs, distributed services, event-driven frameworks, and dependable data pipelines supporting AI-driven SaaS solutions. You will engage in critical architectural decisions, system performance tuning, and promoting engineering best practices to elevate product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering projects and provide technical direction.
• Design the architecture of expansive distributed systems.
• Prepare and review High-Level and Low-Level Design documents.
• Make strategic architectural choices balancing scalability, dependability, security, and costs.
• Facilitate design and architecture review sessions and oversee technical governance.
• Mentor engineers across various experience tiers.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, coding protocols, and development workflows.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Steer technical roadmap planning and technology integration initiatives.
• Optimize system performance and enhance reliability through rigorous review.
• Manage incident response, root cause diagnostics, and preventive measures.
• Promote best practices in observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Lead efforts in capacity planning, resilience strategies, and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Support recruitment, technical interviews, onboarding processes, and team growth activities.

Qualifications and Expertise

• Mastery of Go (Golang) programming language.
• Strong command of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design.
• Proven skill in developing High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of distributed architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Advanced capabilities in concurrency, scalability, and highly available system designs.
• Proficiency in API development (REST, gRPC) and integration techniques.
• Experience with cloud-native systems, including Kubernetes, containerization, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Expertise in observability tools encompassing monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Excellent mentoring ability and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Influential in guiding architecture choices and fostering engineering excellence.
