Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEP Manager to lead and manage the SEP Training team, ensuring that all training standards and regulatory requirements are met in compliance with legislated guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive departmental manual to enhance clarity and understanding of SEP Training procedures within the team.
- Conduct and verify risk assessments before implementing any safety-related procedures.
- Prepare and submit SEP Training Manuals for aircraft models A320, B787, and E190, ensuring compliance with CAAS standards for one AOC approval.
- Standardize SEP Training Manuals to maintain uniformity and consistency of information.
- Establish and maintain positive liaison with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), proactively engaging on safety topics to uphold regulatory compliance.
- Maintain, update, and review training materials communicated via Cabin Safety Instructions to all flight and cabin crew members.
- Collaborate with external trainers and examiners in structuring training programs that meet CAAS regulations.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of SEP-related training courses conforming to departmental requirements, CAAS, international regulations, and best training practices.
- Manage triple fleet training initiatives by preparing aircraft type-specific training programs for A320, B787, and E190 submissions to CAAS.
- Incorporate relevant training presentations, briefing aids, and aircraft differences in triple fleet training modules.
- Ensure sufficient and qualified trainers are available to administer triple fleet training programs.
- Coordinate classroom and training facilities to facilitate effective training sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience as cabin crew across wide-body and narrow-body fleets.
- At least 1 year within the past 5 years serving as a CAAS-approved SEP Training Instructor.
- Possession of ACTA certification and/or Train-The-Trainer certificate.
- Experience in cabin safety is advantageous.
- Previous managerial experience is preferred.
