Job description

Job Overview

As the Manager of Security I reporting to the Director of Security, you will oversee daily security operations ensuring the safety and protection of hotel assets, staff, and guests. Your responsibilities include accident and fire prevention and response, maintaining compliance with legal and operational standards, and documenting required logs and certifications.

Qualification Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED coupled with at least 3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, or a related professional field, OR
  • An accredited 2-year college degree in Criminal Justice or a similar discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant security/loss prevention experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and implementing emergency procedures and recommend corrective measures after security breaches.
  • Investigate asset losses and coordinate appropriate management action.
  • Assign security personnel effectively across property locations.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate security guidelines and submit incident reports including employee accidents and general liabilities.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property and parking areas; maintain all security equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Address guest concerns, resolve disputes, and negotiate solutions to conflicts.
  • Identify workplace hazards, implement plans to control risks and stay informed about regional criminal activities.
  • Perform employee appraisals and maintain required first aid and CPR certifications.
  • Meet local safety and security requirements and uphold disciplinary protocols in accordance with company standards.
  • Lead security teams by organizing meetings, recognizing achievements, communicating safety procedures, and fostering a trustful and cooperative environment.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff and serve as a role model for conduct and professionalism.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by empowering employees and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on claims management and uphold property policies fairly.
  • Engage with local law enforcement and coordinate security for large events including VIP escorts and media management.

This position is located in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia and operates on a full-time schedule on-site.
