Senior Technical Architect

Role Overview

Talent Tides is seeking a Senior Technical Architect with specialized experience in high-rise buildings to join a prominent client project in the UAE. This role demands comprehensive technical expertise in architectural coordination along with substantial contracting experience within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical architectural support throughout all phases of the project.
• Review and coordinate IFC, TQ, PTC, and contractual documents meticulously.
• Manage the preparation and approval process of subcontractors' shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure full compliance with the Dubai Municipality regulations as well as the Green Building code standards.
• Facilitate coordination among architectural, structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Address and resolve any design or technical challenges before construction commencement.
• Lead and oversee work conducted by architects, engineers, and draftsmen effectively.
• Coordinate engineering efforts with all subcontractors involved in the project.
• Maintain comprehensive registers for shop drawings and material submittal logs.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveying and Commercial teams to manage design changes and contract variations.
• Champion strong contractual compliance and maintain technical coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 8 years of contracting experience with a proven track record.
• Must have prior work experience in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and Green Building requirements.
• Proficient in handling shop drawings and material submittals.
• Exceptional coordination and contractual management capabilities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit technologies is essential.
• Must have a technical architectural background combined with contractor experience.
• Fluency in Arabic language is mandatory.
