Estimation Manager – MEP

Role Overview

Talent Tide is recruiting an experienced Estimation Manager specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects for a prominent MEP contracting firm based in Dubai. This opportunity involves overseeing the estimation process and ensuring competitive and precise cost proposals for upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development and verification of cost estimates and tender documents related to MEP contracts.
• Thoroughly review project drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation to accurately interpret project requirements and define pricing strategies.
• Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conduct cost analysis, and prepare detailed commercial bids.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project departments throughout the bidding phase to align estimates with project needs.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and propose cost-effective alternatives to enhance project profitability.
• Ensure timely submission of competitive and precise project estimates within stipulated deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in MEP estimation with proven experience in a managerial capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, quantity survey techniques, costing methodologies, and tender processes.
• Skilled in using estimation software alongside strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical acumen paired with strong commercial insight and effective communication skills.
• Experience working in the UAE or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is strongly preferred.
