Cyber Security Consultant - Emirati

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to safeguard the digital assets, systems, and vital infrastructure of the organization. This role involves conducting thorough cyber risk assessments, evaluating threats, managing vulnerabilities, and applying appropriate security controls to enhance the organization's cybersecurity framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and detailed threat analyses.
• Identify vulnerabilities present in networks, operating systems, web servers, databases, and software applications.
• Evaluate the security implications of adopting new technologies and business platforms.
• Formulate and implement robust security strategies, policies, and risk mitigation measures.
• Lead security audits and ensure adherence to compliance mandates.
• Keep abreast of emerging cyber threats and advise on preventive security controls.
• Maintain compliance with established cybersecurity standards and regulatory obligations.
• Detect infrastructure weaknesses and suggest appropriate remediation actions.
• Provide support in incident response activities, governance frameworks, and business continuity planning.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines required.
• A minimum of 10 years' professional experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Risk Management, or Security Consulting is essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and COBIT.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing evaluations, and conducting security audits.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CRISC, Security+, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, effective communication abilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
