Assistant Project Manager

About the Role

Cheval Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to aid in the coordination and delivery of various digital projects including websites, custom software, and digital marketing initiatives. This position is designed for an individual with prior agency or IT services experience who aspires to assume full project management duties and increased client interaction over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing multiple projects across digital domains such as website development, custom software solutions, and digital campaigns.
• Coordinate effectively among cross-functional teams including design, development, SEO, and marketing departments to ensure alignment on project tasks.
• Maintain and monitor project schedules, deliverables, and task dependencies to guarantee timely completion.
• Engage in client communications by attending meetings, documenting minutes, tracking action items, and facilitating follow-ups.
• Prepare necessary project documentation, including timelines and basic scope definitions.
• Support senior team members by helping to identify potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities during client projects.
• Contribute to creation of project proposals, cost estimates, and discussions related to acquiring new business.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 2 to 4 years of experience in a digital agency or IT services sector.
• Experience managing or assisting multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational abilities with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Motivation to engage directly with clients and gradually assume more responsibility.
• Interest in understanding the commercial aspects and business growth strategies within an agency environment.
