Role Summary

We seek a Senior Roads Engineer based in Riyadh with a minimum of eight years’ experience in infrastructure projects, including at least three years within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The position demands expert knowledge in the design of roads and highways, covering aspects such as geometry, traffic analysis, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning for roads and highways in diverse infrastructure projects.
• Conduct and review road geometric design, alignments (horizontal and vertical), grading, pavement specifications, and perform required engineering analyses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations, standards, and industry best practices in all road design efforts.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to seamlessly integrate road systems into overarching project frameworks.
• Coordinate levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interface points with other infrastructure elements.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including detailed reports and plans.
• Critically assess designs and outputs from engineers, designers, and CAD/BIM teams.
• Offer mentorship and technical assistance to junior staff and colleagues.
• Maintain communications with governmental bodies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of all project criteria.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least eight years of professional experience on infrastructure projects focused on roads and highways.
• Mandatory minimum of three years’ relevant experience working within the KSA.
• In-depth understanding of road and highway systems including construction and design methodologies.
• Well-versed with KSA’s codes, standards, and regulatory demands.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
• Fluent English communication skills; Arabic language proficiency is advantageous.
