Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Wet Utilities Engineer in our Riyadh office. The candidate must possess extensive expertise in infrastructure projects focusing on wet utility networks, including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/TSE, and fire water systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and supervise wet utility infrastructures for various projects.
• Execute and assess hydraulic calculations, network simulations, pipe sizing, and related engineering analyses for wet utilities.
• Adhere to all applicable local regulations, codes, and best practices for wet utility designs.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integration of wet utility systems.
• Manage coordination of utility corridors, crossings, connections, and interfaces with other infrastructure elements.
• Produce comprehensive engineering documentation, reports, and technical plans.
• Evaluate and review technical outputs generated by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and provide ongoing technical support.
• Engage with government bodies, clients, and stakeholders to satisfy project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects emphasizing wet utilities.
• Mandatory minimum of 3 years’ experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Comprehensive understanding of wet utility system design and construction methodologies.
• In-depth familiarity with Saudi Arabia’s codes, standards, and utility authority mandates.
• Competent in engineering software packages like Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS for design and hydraulic modeling.
• Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
