Position Overview

Based in Riyadh, ARX seeks a seasoned Senior Wet Utilities Engineer with at least eight years of experience in infrastructure projects and a minimum of three years working within Saudi Arabia. The candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of wet utility networks, including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/recycled water (TSE), and fire water systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning efforts for wet utility systems across various infrastructure developments.
• Conduct and validate hydraulic calculations, network modeling, and pipe sizing analyses essential for wet utilities.
• Ensure compliance of all designs with local regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate wet utilities effectively within project designs.
• Manage coordination of utility corridors, connections, crossings, diversions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, detailed plans, and supporting documentation.
• Review engineering designs and technical outputs from juniors, designers, and BIM/CAD personnel.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to less-experienced engineers and team members.
• Engage with government bodies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are fully addressed.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum eight years’ experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on wet utilities engineering.
• At least three years of demonstrated experience working in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong expertise in wet utility systems, including design and construction methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and utility authority regulations.
• Proficiency in engineering design and hydraulic modeling software such as Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS.
• Fluent command of English is required; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
