Role Overview

We seek a Senior Roads Engineer to join our Riyadh office. The suitable candidate will possess at least eight years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a minimum of three years specifically within Saudi Arabia. This role demands advanced knowledge of roads and highway design, including geometric layouts, traffic analysis, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and supervision of roads and highway projects.
• Conduct and verify analyses such as road geometry, alignments, grading, and pavement designs.
• Ensure designs adhere to local laws, standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate road systems into overall project frameworks.
• Manage coordination of road elevations, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interface with other infrastructure components.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation including reports and design plans.
• Review outputs from engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD specialists.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineering personnel.
• Engage with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to satisfy project criteria.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in infrastructure, focusing on roads and highways.
• At least three years’ experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• In-depth knowledge of road and highway design and construction best practices.
• Familiarity with applicable KSA codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in engineering software, specifically Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
