Role Overview

The Engineering Coordinator position, based in Jeddah, is a full-time, on-site role focused on supporting the engineering and maintenance functions of the hotel. The incumbent coordinates engineering projects alongside daily maintenance operations, efficiently managing work orders by logging, prioritizing, and ensuring their timely completion. Responsibilities include budget tracking, document management, and maintaining equipment, inspection, and preventive maintenance records. Collaboration with the Engineering Manager and multiple departments is crucial for seamless communication, scheduling contractors, and adherence to safety and operational policies. The role involves monitoring project deadlines, preparing reports, and following up on pending actions to maintain smooth facility operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong skills in project coordination and management to aid engineering and maintenance initiatives.
  • Analytical aptitude and budgeting proficiency for overseeing costs and resource management.
  • Effective communication capabilities for cooperation with teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, or building maintenance is beneficial.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance, safety regulations, and basic systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing is an asset.
  • Competence in MS Office or related software for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Preferably holds a diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or similar disciplines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining attention to detail.
