Job Description

We seek a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer for our Riyadh office, ideally with over 8 years’ experience in infrastructure projects including at least 3 years within Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on dry utilities such as power, telecommunications, and street lighting, requiring expertise in planning, design, and management of these networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design and planning efforts for dry utility systems across infrastructure projects.
• Conduct engineering calculations, network designs, cable sizing, and analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and industry best practice in all dry utility designs.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate dry utilities into overall project plans.
• Manage utility corridors, including crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, reports, and plans.
• Review and validate technical outputs from engineers, designers, and CAD/BIM teams.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Engage with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience working on infrastructure projects, particularly focused on dry utilities.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience within Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Deep understanding of dry utility systems design and construction processes.
• In-depth knowledge of KSA codes, standards, and utility authority regulations.
• Proficiency with engineering design tools such as Civil 3D and relevant electrical design software.
• Fluency in English mandatory; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
