Site Engineer

About the Role

The Site Engineer will manage the daily operations at the project site located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, primarily in industrial and port areas. The role involves overseeing manpower, work planning, quality control, safety practices, and resource allocation to meet daily project targets according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily site operations ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Allocate workforce effectively and monitor productivity levels.
• Coordinate multiple construction activities including fabrication, erection, welding, sheeting, painting, and civil works.
• Plan and manage procurement and usage of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor work quality to minimize rework and uphold safety standards in conjunction with the Safety Officer.
• Prepare and maintain detailed Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Liaise with clients, site representatives, vendors, procurement, manpower, and logistics teams.
• Identify and report any delays, shortages, technical challenges, and risks impacting project timelines.
• Maintain accurate site measurements and documentation, ensuring timely achievement of daily and weekly targets.
• Coordinate project movement controls such as gate passes and material documentation.
• Track manpower mobilization, attendance, equipment, machinery, and vehicle deployment.
• Maintain project trackers, MIS reports, and follow up on financial processes including expenses, bills, and payments.
• Prepare meeting minutes (MOM) and track action items to ensure timely resolution.
• Highlight critical issues and ensure prompt communication and closure of project deliverables.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is INR 22,000 to INR 55,000.
