Site Supervisor

Overview

The position of Building Site Supervisor involves overseeing daily operations at construction sites to ensure that all activities comply with approved plans, quality standards, and schedules. This role requires close coordination with various stakeholders including contractors, subcontractors, laborers, vendors, consultants, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily construction tasks across civil, structural, finishing, plumbing, electrical, and related disciplines.
• Verify that all work aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and scheduled timelines.
• Facilitate collaboration between contractors, subcontractors, labor force, vendors, and site engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assess quality of incoming materials and workmanship at the site to maintain standards.
• Track daily attendance of labor, monitor manpower allocation, and evaluate ongoing work progress.
• Document daily site activities, work advancement, and material consumption accurately.
• Ensure the adequate supply and effective use of construction materials on site.
• Identify and report any site-related problems, coordinating resolution efforts with relevant teams promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols and site safety regulations among all workers to maintain a secure working environment.
• Supervise site cleanliness and housekeeping to uphold orderly site conditions.
• Manage receipt, unloading, and proper storage of materials delivered to the site.
• Inspect completed work, noting and reporting any defects or quality concerns immediately.
• Support measurement verification and audit contractor billing as necessary.
• Liaise with project consultants, architects, engineers, and management regarding site needs and progress.
• Ensure timely project completion that meets all specified requirements.
• Conduct systematic site inspections with regular updates provided to management.
