Senior Architect

Role Overview

An established property and construction group based in Sydney is looking for an accomplished Senior Architect to spearhead townhouse and multi-dwelling residential projects. This role involves full project ownership from initial concept design stages all the way through to construction completion, ensuring delivery of high-quality residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery phases including concept development, development approvals (DA), construction certificates (CC), complying development certificates (CDC), technical documentation, and construction support.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and construction teams to achieve superior residential outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate consultant activities effectively.
• Communicate confidently with clients, councils, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering townhouse, multi-dwelling, or residential development projects within Sydney.
• Strong design skills combined with proficiency in technical documentation.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NSW planning regulations including the Housing SEPP, Local Environmental Plans (LEPs), and Development Control Plans (DCPs).
• Experience managing projects through all stages from concept design to construction delivery.
• Registered Architect status is highly regarded.

Desirable Attributes

• Mandarin language skills to enhance client and stakeholder engagement.
• Background in developer-led, design-and-construct, or residential development settings.
• Familiarity with Enscape visualization software.
