Security Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join us full-time, contracted for 37.5 hours per week, supporting the safety and security of healthcare environments. In this position, you will play a vital role in protecting our clients, staff, and facilities while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive and cooperative team member with strong communication skills.
• Manage access and monitor movements within the buildings and their immediate vicinity.
• Execute effective and secure security operations.
• Safeguard the premises and ensure a secure environment.
• Assist visitors and the public by providing helpful information and answering queries.
• Serve as a representative of the healthcare provider, maintaining a positive and professional image.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or be eligible to obtain one.
• Display excellent communication abilities and easily establish rapport with others.
• Demonstrate resilience and strong determination in fulfilling responsibilities.
• Have prior experience delivering high-quality customer service.
• Maintain a professional and neat appearance.
• Show initiative independently and excel in team collaborations.
• Be capable of working effectively under pressure.
• Pay keen attention to details in all security tasks.
• Understand pertinent health and safety standards, criminal law, and operational procedures related to security.
