Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This role demands punctuality, vigilance, and the strict observance of protocols to maintain a secure environment day and night.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive at the post 15-20 minutes prior to shift start to prepare and receive detailed handover from the previous shift, including keys, registers, and incident updates.
• Wear clean and complete uniform with ID card and carry necessary security tools such as torch, whistle, and baton.
• Control main gate access during night hours, ensuring it is either closed or fully monitored without leaving it unattended.
• Record details of visitors, delivery personnel, and employees coming or going during night shifts in the visitor register, capturing names, mobile numbers, timings, and purpose of visit.
• Inspect vehicle trunks and license plates of all vehicles entering or leaving at night.
• Conduct thorough patrols inside and outside of the premises every 1 to 2 hours using a torch to check all doors, windows, and storeroom locks are secured.
• Monitor CCTV screens vigilantly if assigned to the CCTV room, maintaining constant awareness.
• Maintain alertness by activating the whistle every half hour and providing updates to the supervisor via walkie-talkie to avoid drowsiness.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as fires by activating alarms, using firefighting equipment, and notifying authorities including fire brigade and senior officials immediately.
• Intervene in case of suspicious individuals or items by questioning and promptly informing security supervisor or local police.
• Adhere strictly to conduct rules: no personal mobile use during duty, absolutely no sleeping on duty, abstain from substance abuse, and maintain polite yet firm communication with visitors and employees.
• At shift end, record all incidents, patrol times, and visitor details clearly in the logbook, hand over all keys and equipment, and do not leave the post until the incoming guard arrives.

Compensation & Additional Information

The monthly remuneration for this position is between 13,000 and 16,000 INR. Compliance with all listed protocols and disciplined behavior is mandatory for the role.
