Role Overview
This position focuses on growing the sales pipeline across the APAC region by identifying and engaging with new prospects to generate qualified sales opportunities for the sales team. The role involves sourcing leads, educating prospects via phone and email, and coordinating discovery meetings within specific territories alongside inbound marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified meetings that translate into pipeline sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales growth metrics.
- Understand and pursue strategies to consistently achieve targets.
- Identify potential customer companies through targeted research.
- Utilize online tools and research to support lead generation and qualification.
- Navigate organizational structures effectively to obtain necessary information.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align regional goals.
- Continuously gather market and business insights.
- Set personal performance goals with mentor guidance.
- Maintain accurate data within Salesforce CRM and sales engagement platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience managing sales prospects and pipelines with CRM software.
- Proactive, self-driven approach with strong interpersonal and decision-making abilities.
- Confidence and skill in initiating phone conversations with new prospects.
- Ability to convert initial objections into qualified sales discussions.
- Excellent communication and social media proficiency to create multiple engagement channels.
- Willingness to learn about Identity & Access Management market and Ping's solutions.
- Preferred: prior SaaS sales experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
