Position Overview
This role focuses on driving sales growth in the Asia-Pacific region by sourcing and qualifying new sales leads to support the sales team. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will identify prospective companies, contact potential clients via phone and email, and generate sales-ready opportunities. The role collaborates closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment and effective pipeline creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified meetings that convert into sales opportunities.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales growth targets consistently.
- Understand and maintain momentum to exceed goals.
- Research and identify potential customer companies using web tools.
- Navigate organizational structures to gain necessary contacts and information.
- Foster positive working relationships with Sales and Marketing teams to achieve regional goals.
- Leverage all opportunities to learn about market dynamics and the business landscape.
- Set personal goals with guidance from mentors.
- Maintain data accuracy and use of Salesforce (CRM) and Sales Engagement tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience managing sales prospects and pipelines using CRM systems.
- Proactive, self-driven with strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational capabilities.
- Confidence in initiating and handling conversations with new prospects by phone.
- Proven ability to convert initial rejections into qualified sales calls.
- Excellent communication and social media skills for multiple access points to market and accounts.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge about Identity & Access Management solutions and Ping’s offerings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in SaaS sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
